Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Earpiece ("we", "us") collects and how we use it.

Data we collect

• Account data: your email address and sign-in/session records.
• Billing data: your plan, subscription status, and payment records. Card details are collected and stored by our payment processors, not by us.
• Usage data: trial time consumed and basic operational logs needed to run and secure the Service.
• Content you provide: the profile text and any "interview context" you enter, plus audio captured during a session for transcription.

How audio and content are processed

When you use the Service, captured audio is sent to our AI provider (Groq) for transcription, and your transcribed question plus the profile you provided are sent to generate a suggested answer. We do not sell your content. When you are signed in, the profile you save is stored on your account so it is available across your devices; it is also cached in your browser. You can edit or clear it at any time, or request deletion of your account and its data.

Third parties we share data with

• Groq, speech-to-text and answer generation.
• Lemon Squeezy, card payments and merchant-of-record billing.
• NOWPayments, cryptocurrency payments.
• Resend, sending sign-in emails.
• Railway, hosting and database.

These providers process data only to deliver their part of the Service, under their own privacy terms.

Retention

We retain account and billing records for as long as your account exists and as required for tax and legal purposes. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Email support@earpiece.app and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), HttpOnly secure session cookies, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
